It’s just the best feeling when my clients get results!

This 7 Day Kick Start has been wonderful. The team has been feeling wonderful, energised, more confident, focused and lighter!

It’s great to see how well everyone has been doing. But the most beautiful thing to witness is the support these ladies have been giving each other. They praise, motivate, kick each other up the backside and even have time for a bit of banter.

Chocolate Tofu Mousse

 

It’s that time of the month… and I really needed something chocolatey!

This Chocolate Tofu Mousse is so delicious! Definitely did the trick. 😋

Will you try it?

SERVES 3

PER SERVING:
277 Calories
22g Carbs
18g Protein
13g Fat
.

30g soft pitted dates
30g oats (use gluten-free if preferred)
20g unsweetened coconut flakes
stevia to taste, or use natural sweetener of your choice
300g silken tofu
25g dark chocolate (minimum 70% cocoa)
10g cocoa powder
30g chocolate or vanilla flavour whey or rice protein powder (optional)

for the topping:
5g dark chocolate, finely grated

Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until creamy.

Transfer to 3 small serving bowls and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze on the same day.

Top with grated dark chocolate before serving.

Can we just please start being realistic? 🙏🏻

You won’t achieve your health goals in just one week. 😮

You won’t get the body of your dreams in 48 hours. 🙄

You won’t tone your arms with the 3 sets of tricep dips you decided to do last month. 😒

You won’t get a perky, juicy bum in one workout. 🍑

You won’t suddenly become healthy just because you had a green juice last week…

You definitely won’t lose those extra pounds just because you bought the latest fat burning knickers. 👀

You will not wake up looking like a Goddess just because you drank that Ultimate Miracle Fat Melting shake the night before…

RESULTS ARE NOT INSTANT!

But I’ll tell you exactly what the secret to getting results really is…

CONSISTENCY!

Being consistent with your healthy eating habits, including vegetables at every meal, trying to be active every day, hitting your 10,000 steps, drinking your 2 litres of water, reducing processed foods, etc… that will give you results! 👍🏻

MEGA LUNGE WORKOUT

 

Whenever I’m short on time, I choose lunges to work my lower body.

They’re such an all-rounder! You can hit most of the lower body in one go. 🔥

A lot of people hate lunges, but it’s definitely a love affair for me. If you want toned legs and glutes this is for you. It will even work your core to some degree. 💪🏻👍🏻

Set the alarm and do each exercise for 30-45 secs. You can repeat 2-4 times depending on your fitness level and time available.

ZUCCHINI FRIES

 

Have you ever tried ZUCCHINI FRIES? 😋

They’re delicious. Why don’t you have a go tonight?

Serves: 4
Prep: 20 mins
Cook: 15 mins

Nutrition per serving:
177 kcals 12g Fats
14g Carbs 5g Protein

WHAT YOU NEED:

1.1 lbs. (500g) zucchini
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 egg
1 tsp. plant milk
4 tbsp. breadcrumbs (I put any stale wholemeal bread in the food processor for this)
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried thyme
3 tbsp. olive oil

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Preheat oven to 430F (220C). Cut zucchini into fry-like pieces.

Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk with the milk. Season with salt, pepper, add the crushed garlic, oregano, and thyme, mix well. On a separate plate, have your breadcrumbs ready.

Grease a large baking tray with 1 tbsp of olive oil.

Dip the zucchini in the egg, then roll in the breadcrumbs and place on the baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Turn the fries 2-3 times during this time, drizzling them with the remaining 2 tbsp of olive oil.

Season with salt and serve.

PUSH HARDER THAN YESTERDAY

 

It’s as simple as that.

If you want a different tomorrow, you need to push harder than yesterday.

Living in the comfort zone might make you feel safe, but it definitely doesn’t help you achieve your goals and your dreams.

You need to step outside that comfort zone and feel the adrenaline. Feel how liberating it can be to finally start pushing harder every day and start working towards your goals. 😊

You need to be proactive, consistent, resilient and positive. No one has ever achieved success thinking about it… be it health-wise, fitness, or professionally. You need to want it bad enough and be willing to put the work in. 😅

Contrary to many people’s belief, we do not live in Magic Land. There are no magic wands capable of doing the work for you, and no mountains that will make their way to you.

Challenge yourself to achieve the life you’ve always wanted! Do the work required and be relentless. Find the mountain and climb it to the very top.

Exercise in the Morning

 

I just love a sweaty look in the mornings! 🙂

On a more serious note, working out first thing in the morning has magical powers for me.

Do you workout first thing?

For me, it completely changes my whole day.

It makes me feel alive, revitalised, energised, productive, switched on and raring to go!

Also, it ensures I won’t miss my workout when I get busy later on with clients, classes and the kids.

I know we think we can just do it later when the kids go to sleep… but C’mon! I don’t know about you, but for me I sometimes even fall asleep with kids… 🙈

If you get your exercise out of the way first thing in the morning, it will be over and done with. You won’t need to think about it anymore. It’s done!

Why don’t you give it a go? Wake up 15 minutes earlier and do an energetic 10 minute workout. It will make such a difference to your day. Just make sure you have your workout stuff ready to go the night before. So as soon as that alarm goes off, just get out of bed without a second thought, put on your workout gear and start. Do not give your brain time to realise what you’re trying to do, otherwise it might sent you back to bed… 😬So when the alarm goes off, it’s all systems go! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
